Suicide Squad a disruptive blockbuster took an estimated $43.8M between Friday and Saturday. The movie was dropped from opening numbers on last weekend’s by 67%.But despite the big drop movie keeps grip on North American box office.

Topping the list of two other new releases-R rated Comedy Sausage party and family fantasy Pete’s Dragon rivaled by other superhero movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” which also suffers a drop by 69.1% its second weekend at the box office.

Analysts have put the major drop down to negative critical reviews and bad word-of-mouth, the film currently holding a B+ whereas superhero films normally score around an A.
If we take about another drop off ,The Ben Affleck-Henry Cavil film had a bigger than “X-men Origins: Wolverine and “Elektra,” which had declines of 69%.
