Niantic announced that they were in the process of implementing a brand feature to Pokémon Go; a daily bonus obtained by catching Pokémon and spinning Poke Stops.

This is a feature that players have been begging for ever since the game came out, and it’s a feature that you’ll find in all well-designed mobile games. It keeps loyal players loyal, it brings back players who are on the verge of quitting (or who have already quit playing), and best of all, it gives us free stuff.

The daily bonus that we’ll be getting in Pokémon Go is quite good, too. First of all, you will gain a bonus 500 EXP and 600 Stardust for catching a single Pokémon every day, and, if you keep it up for a full week, you’ll get an additional 2,000 EXP and 2,400 Stardust. If you do the math, that’s a bonus of 5,500 EXP and 6,600 Stardust every week just for catching a single Pokémon a day.

According to Niantic, players who catch a Pokémon at any time on Tuesday local time, will be eligible for the next daily bonus on Wednesday at 12 AM local time.
