Kenya West Star Teyana Taylor has signed two VH1 shows “The breaks “and “Hip hop squares”.

The hip hop drama “The Breaks” is a series based on the book The Big Payback: The History of the Business of Hip-Hop, is a journey of three friends trying to become stars in a New York City in 1990.Taylor will play a rapper in the series which will air in January.

Signing the show Taylor joins a cast that includes Mack Wilds (90210), Antoine Harris (Ballers), David Call (The Magicians), Evan Handler (Sex and the City), Melonie Diaz (Fruitvale Station), Sinqua Walls (Power) and Ali Ahn (Billions).

The other show is the game show “Hip Hop Squares” a reimagining of the celebrity game show Hollywood Squares. The series, which is produced by Cube Vision, Jesse Collins Entertainment, Jeff Kwatinetz’s The Firm and CBS Television Distribution, featuring the famous faces from the hip hop, comedy and entertainment.
